Hubby Love

Since Valentine's Day is here, I thought now would be a good time to talk about the wonderful husband that I have.  I am one lucky chick to have found someone like him and I truly am thankful every day that he chose me.  So, I'm not going to get all gooey, but I'll give you an update on our lives to give you an idea of the kind of man he is.
As most of you know, we moved to Wisconsin for my job.  The original thought was that if we made the move, I wouldn't have to travel much because we didn't want to make such a big commitment for me to be gone all of the time.  Well, when we first got here, since I was pregnant, that was pretty much the case.  I hardly traveled in the beginning of last year and then because of bed rest and then, of course, maternity leave, I was grounded until around August.  Once I got back into the groove at work, I began to realize I was pretty far behind everyone else.  I had to make a decision about what I would want my career to be.  The job I came here for requires travel and if I don't travel, I can't advance in my position or in this career.  After speaking with MH, he gave me his blessing to begin traveling a bit more so that I can train enough to be able to go out on my own.  He's been very supportive and encouraging even though a travel schedule like mine can be very difficult to deal with.  I've been traveling about 3 weeks out of the month, usually about 3 days a week.  I try to avoid going on trips that keep me away any more than that.
I understand that it takes a strong man to stay home and take care of two kids all day without any help.  And it takes a very caring individual to help a mom adjust to being away from her family.  Yes, it can be tough at times.  There is a lot of routine needed in a house with a two-year-old and an 8-month-old.  But routine kind of goes out the window when one of the parents is traveling.  MH has been so amazing handling the routine and non-routine parts of our lives and has helped Little Miss adjust to Mommy being away.  So I guess this goes a giant, public THANK YOU to my wonderful husband for being the person you are.  I can't say this is what I thought things would be like when we decided to move but I believe it's only made our family stronger.

With all of this travel, the time seems to fly by even faster.  Our Little Miss is turning 3 in two weeks!!  She is now all Princess.  She is always dancing and singing and posing for pictures.  We are hoping to get her into a dance class soon.  She is already very good with mimicking moves - she does my workout routine with me every day.  She's amazing at the yoga portion!  And then there's Little B.  He is just so big!  I think he's a good 25 pounds now.  He isn't crawling yet but wants to.  He thinks his sister is about the funniest person in the world and it's so cute to see them interact.  He's babbling now, saying Mama and Dada, but not really with meaning yet.  He does love the sound of his voice though, haha!

Of course, I will add pictures so you can all see how big they are getting.  We miss you all and hope to see you soon!
