Well, I am half-way through my 32nd week of pregnancy. Time seems to fly when you look back but goes extremely slow when you look forward, maybe that's just me! I'm still having contractions but now they've seemed to slow down a bit except when I do a little too much during the day, then I'll find that I'm having way too many when I'm trying to wind down at night. Either way, as of my doctor's appointment last week, the contractions are still not making me dilate so we are good for now. I will get checked again tomorrow I'm sure. It's just been kind of funny to me because we were SO worried about having the baby in my 29th week and we've already made it to 32. I think it will be pretty funny if I go past 36 weeks and all of that worry would have been for nothing!
MH and I met a crazy lady last week when we decided to sell some of Little Miss's old clothes. At first she seemed pretty nice and so we got to talking and I told her how my pregnancy was going mostly for conversational purposes but whatever. She decided to tell me a nice little story about when she was pregnant with her son. She said that she was having contractions all the time but was not dilating at all. They found out that the reason she wasn't dilating was because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck and was preventing him from moving down. Isn't that a nice story to tell a very pregnant woman currently experiencing a lot of contractions but not dilating?? I mean, really? What would make her tell me such a horrible story. I guess to her credit, she did begin the story with "I don't want to freak you out or anything...", um, that's pretty much exactly what you did crazy lady! She also gave us a little lecture about not giving her enough time to go through the clothes we left and complained about having to call us long distance to let us know when she was done with the sorting. I know I've never run a business of my own my first thought is that none of the above should have ever happened. Haha! Maybe I should open up my own consignment shop and go into competition with her, I already have a list of what NOT to do!
So that was my random story for the week. I don't really have much to talk about. There isn't much else new. We are still trying to get the house organized and I haven't quite found the motivation to get a lot done yet. MH has though. It's funny. I was sort of thinking that he's in his "nesting" mode already and for some reason mine hasn't kicked in!
Little Miss is doing great. She is starting to talk in sentences all of a sudden. She's also getting her 2-year molars so we've had some fun with fits lately! However, this morning she woke up in such a cute mood. Once she got out of bed she was super snuggly and kept hugging me. We went downstairs to eat breakfast and between bites she would hug my arm! Too cute!
Ok, I'm getting out of here for the day but I wanted to show you a picture of how it's actually starting to get nice out now. The bigger trees still aren't blooming yet but it's getting a lot greener around her, that's for sure. And also, a picture of how ridiculously pregnant I'm beginning to look. If I could send you a video of me walking around, I wouldn't because I look ridiculous waddling around this place! Haha! Ok here you go:
Positive Wisconsin Note: People walk around EVERYWHERE here when it's warm out. I think once I have the baby, I might meet a bunch of people just taking daily walks to the river! It's kind of cool.
