It's done! We have a house! We finally closed on the Aurora house this afternoon. And the best part is that we don't have to deal with our loan officer or realtor ever again! Two people I would NEVER recommend - Diane Schacht, who seems to believe she did a great job by the way, and Chad Haug whom actually asked MH at our closing if he was mad at him. Really? What a complete tool. My pregnant behind was about to punch that guy in the face. Anyway, we are SO happy that it's done. Our movers are scheduled for Thursday and my wonderful boss thought that I should be required to take Thursday and Friday off work - yeah!!! We won't be able to get a whole lot done before we move in but I could care less right now! We will work on getting Little Miss's room painted as soon as possible, mostly because there is a super creepy mural of an astronaut on the wall at this time and I would rather that not be there. :-)
In other news, Little Miss turns 2 on Friday so in an early celebration, we took her to Betty Brinn's Children's Museum this last weekend and it was pretty cool. She had so much fun. She was dragging us from one thing to the next. She loved the slide, of course, and also really liked the velocity activities - I think that's what they were called. They are the games where you place a golf ball on a track and watch what it does as it gains speed. She is so smart too! She knew how to do all of the stuff. She would put the golf ball as high as she could reach and watch it go through the loops and then fly out at the end. It was really crowded since we went on a weekend so it would be a ton of fun to go during the week sometime so we can have more opportunities to play. Well, the Milwaukee Art Museum is right next to it too so I got to finally see that up close. It's really cool and I can't wait to go there this summer. Here is a picture of Little Miss on the slide and one of the art museum in the summer.
My seester and ShiShi are coming to town this weekend and I'm so excited! We are going to have another little celebration for Little Miss so that should be fun. Everyone will get to see the new place too! We are also going to make a trip to the art museum for a photography exhibit that's there right now so even though it isn't summer, we will still get to see how cool it is on the inside at least!
My pregnancy pain has kicked in. My back is getting kind of bad and my stomach muscles are really bothering me. I was expecting the discomfort because of how I was with Little Miss but this seems to be a bit more than before. I already know at some point I'm going to miss being prego though, so I'm trying not to start thinking I'm ready for it all to be over.
Positive Milwaukee Note: I saw the coolest sunset today! There were these wispy looking clouds in the sky and the sun was reflecting colors off of them. It looked like random rainbows in the sky - very pretty!!!
